Hi Simone,
We recently managed to secure SEND support for our son for his GCSEs, in that he is now allowed to type instead of handwriting. His teachers were very supportive, acknowledging that he gets consistently good grades despite not being able to complete longer written exams/assessments and produce enough content and that his high ability …
…masks his genuine struggle with handwriting [dysgraphia*]. Everything I’ve learned from you and PowerWood over the years has really helped with advocating calmly and clearly and we’re so pleased that our son can receive this support without lengthy assessments or other administrative barriers, as time is of the essence now.
I hope you’ve had a good start to the week & best wishes for now,
Anna xx
